There are ways to get Your point across without coming across
like a "man hater" and without people thinking that
You are just "slamming" men. Some may even assume You
are a lesbian (A classic stereo-type).
It helps to understand men more. men do not vent as Women do so
they just take our venting to be what they call "nagging".
They feel they are being blamed and scolded for something. They
do not usually get as verbal as we do so instead of talking about
the problem they just "fix it". So when Women rally,
demonstrate, picket, bra-burn, etc., men will take it as nagging,
bitching, complaining, whining, etc., instead of actually "hearing"
what We are saying. We would get further ahead, in this so-called
man's world, by doing it the way men would do it. By taking ACTION!
men relate to action more. Why do you think they like to watch
action movies more than any other kind of movie? Why do you think
men just fight or go to war to solve a problem instead of talking
about it? When men have a problem with another man you will often
hear him comment about the other man this way: "The only
way to get through to him is by teaching him a lesson! It is the
only thing he will understand!" This is true. Talking logically
to an irrational person never does solve anything. men often use
this rule of thumb when dealing with their wives or girlfriends
also. he will become frustrated trying to solve the problem when
he cannot figure out what the problem is and why She is yelling
at him so he will consider hitting her to "solve the problem".
Of course this does not necessarily solve the problem but at the
time he felt it was the easiest solution (men seldom plan far
ahead).
To get what You want without making men think that you are trying
to take anything away from them, or making them feel that You
are just bitching/nagging, it is best to "grab the bull by
his horns" (or balls) and to lead him off of Your pasture
(and into Your corral or stable if You wish). You will need to
show him what it is that You want. men prefer visuals over
written words which is why they like magazines with photos, TV,
movies, "Girl watching", and watching sports. So instead
of expecting him to read a self-help book or article, give him
a video on what it is that You want or like. If You cannot find
a video on it then try giving him a Goddess club video. "Goddess
Party", "Ladies Tea Party", and "How to Worship
a Goddess" were made especially for this purpose. It can
do most of the work for You. It will entertain him and it will
also sneak in a hidden message at the same time. If You are not
sure how to get Your point across to him as he is watching it
