Goddess-worthy Nightclubs
Vancouver and surrounding area:
· George's-Yaletown (Jazz Bar. Reserve the small cozy private room at
the very back)
· Glowball-Yaletown
· Campoverde-1660 Cypress Street (Decor befitting a Queen)
· Bayside Room Lounge-Davie St./Denmen (Go early to get a good seat and
watch the sunset!)
· Crush-Granville St./Davie St. (Very 60's and psychedelic)
Goddess-worthy Restaurants
Vancouver and surrounding area:
· BC Ferries Pacific Buffet.(Only served on the large
ferries which go to Victoria. It does not matter which meal of
the day it is. They are all great. However, immediately upon entering
the ferry, hurry upstairs to the buffet to avoid the long line
up and to get a good table by the window. Choose a table on the
side of the ferry so you can enjoy seeing the islands and whales.
You can stay at your table for the entire voyage so it is recommended
that you do. Good food, good service, a panoramic spectacular
view from your table, and a comfortable seat. What more could
you ask for!)
· Best Western Richmond Inn Sunday Brunch in the garden
lounge. (Free champagne includes free re-fills! Special holiday
brunches have larger selections). Westminster Hwy. (There are
brunches at both Best Westerns in Richmond. Make sure you go to
the right one. This garden lounge faces the outdoor pool, has
booths as well as tables, and has a pub right outside of the garden
lounge's entrance).
· Cactus Club (The one on Robson St. has beautiful waitresses. The one
on Kingsway has a nice outdoor patio with a fireplace. The one on Lougheed Hwy.
has a nice large bar, a gothic fireplace, and an elaborately decorated outdoor
patio. Try the Bellini's!)
· Fish House, Stanley Park. (Great seafood.)
· Gotham Steakhouse and Cocktail Bar, 615 Seymour Street, Vancouver,
BC. V6B 3K3. (604) 605-8282. Fax (604) 605-8285. Spectacularly decorated with
dark wood panel walls, high ceilings, candlelight on the tables, and the bar
has high wingback leather chairs (A stock broker's paradise). There is also
an outdoor patio with fireplace and banquet rooms both upstairs and down. One
private room is said to have a large screened TV (for boardroom meetings perhaps?).
Downside: Supreme Goddess Lorena found the steaks to be too small for the price.
· Horizon's, Burnaby Mountain (The salmon is good.)
· Jupiter's Cafe, Bute/Davie Street. Friendly staff, red velvet
and black leather interior, two outdoor patios, dance room. (Try the dessert
platter of all 3 desserts.)
· Lennox Pub, Granville St. Sit upstairs for more privacy. Friendly staff.
The whisky grilled salmon and the mixed seafood jambolaya are very good.
· Mortons's Steakhouse. Said to be the highest priced restaurant in town.
· The Observatory (On top of Grouse Mountain). For the dinner Supreme
Goddess Lorena recommends the Seafood Bouillibaise or the Seafood Mixed Grill.
For dessert try the chocolate cake that comes with the brandy soaked cherries
(ask for extra cherries). Be sure to:
1. Reserve one of the two tables that are right by the front window facing over
Vancouver.
2. Make the reservation to be 30 minutes to one hour before night fall.
3. Make the reservation to be just after the free movie at the theatre
ends so that you can see the free movie just before your dinner.
· Pasparos Taverna, 132 West Third Street, North Vancouver, BC V7M 1E8
(604) 980-0331 Fax: (604) 980-2112. Great greek food with greek atmosphere and
decor. Has outdoor patio. Try the combo.
· The Royal City Star paddlewheel boat, New Westminster.(Casino and
buffet).
· Yaletown Brewery. Good food, good portions, friendly staff. On Sundays
all pizzas and certain beers are half prize.
· Steamworks Brewery, Gastown. (Located beside the building which is
the Seabus Terminal.) Good food, good drinks. Free beer samples. Sit downstairs
on the black leather couches in front of the fireplace.
Restaurants out of town:
· BamBoo, 312 Queens St.West, Toronto. (416)
593-5771 Caribbean restaurant with live music and dance floor.
· Duke's Canoe Club, Waikiki, Oahu. Great for both
dinner and for breakfast brunch.
· Sonny's, 429 N.Camino Real, San Clemente, California.
The best pasta dishes ever!
· Sid's Seafood House, 21911 Roscoe Blvd., Canoga Park,
California. A home-style family seafood restaurant.
· Santa Suzanna(?) Grill, Radisson Hotel Chatsworth, 9777
Topanga Canyon Blvd., Chatsworth, California 91311.
(818)709-7054. Fax(818)998-3573. Reservations: (800) 676-9641.
(They made the mistake of removing their superb prime rib and
garlic mashed potatoes entre from the menu).
· Michel's Restaurant at Diamond Head, Waikiki, Oahu.
Very high class restaurant. French/continental cuisine and a great
wine list.
· Villa Restaurant, Westin Maui Hotel, Maui. Seafood
buffet.
G-spots (Meditative places and great picnic areas)
Vancouver-Downtown/West End
· Robson Square water fall. Robson St./Howe.
· Sun Yet San Chinese Garden, China Town.
· Vancouver Public Library.(Roman coliseum design)
· Beaver Lake, Stanley Park.
· Stanley Park rose garden. Also, the petting zoo which
is located near the rose garden often allows the peacocks to wonder
freely outside of the petting zoo's entrance.
· Airforce Memorial Park, Stanley Park. Once at Stanley
Park's rose garden, walk up the hill to the top of the rose garden
then follow the forest path on the left. It will eventually lead
to the Memorial Park which is on the right of the forest. Most
beautiful in the autumn.
· Lagoon Lake, Stanley Park. Walk around the lake. In June
the ducks and swans have their ducklings.
· When at Second Beach in Stanley Park walk right along the path towards the duck ponds and bridges. On the right you will come across a small dirt path that leads into a very secluded garden pathway that borders alongside the golf putting green. Follow it all the way around the golfing green. Beautiful blossoms in the spring!
· Sea wall. Start at Science World or at Canada Place and walk, jog,
bike, or blade around the seawall. There are some beautiful spots to stop at.
Take with you a sweater or coat, water, snacks, and a knapsack, wear good walking
shoes, and stop at washrooms along the way.
Vancouver-East
· Old staircase beside 774 E.6th Ave.(E.2nd turns into E.6th just east
of Main). This staircase had six roman statues on it but now only four remain
and they recently had red spray paint sprayed on their faces. Supreme Goddess
Lorena loved those statues and is greatly upset about this. (A slave should
remove the paint from the statues' faces in order to please Supreme Goddess
Lorena.)
Vancouver-Kitsilano
· Planetarium. (See the late-night Lazer Light Show.)
· Granville Island. Walk through the public market and sample the foods,
shop at the arts shops, have a drink on Bridges patio in the summer, and walk
along the seawall to Kits Beach or walk the other direction all the way to Science
World if you prefer (There are some very nice spots to stop along the way).
· Laurel/W.7th trail leads over a bridge that leads
to a picnic bench by a tranquil pond that is at the top of a waterfall.
You can also continue walking down the pathway towards the inlet.
On the seawall turn right. When reach the duck pond on the right
walk left through the treed pathway that leads to two scenic bench
spots that overlook the inlet.
· Hill on right side of road just past Spanish Banks.
Vancouver-South
· Queen Elizabeth Park.
· Van Dusen Gardens.
North Vancouver
· Park and Tilford Gardens. Located at Park and Tilford mall. Spring
is the best time.
West Vancouver
· White Cliff Park. This park has a beach, picnic area, cliffs to climb,
look out points, snorkelling, seals, and a small island to swim out to. If you
climb the rocks by the ocean you can find some very secluded tanning and picnic
spots. Many people snorkel here and you can swim with the seals. It is a good
idea to take water shoes with you (the kind you can swim with) as the sand can
get a bit rocky at times and there are barnicles on the rocks that bathers climb
on depending on the water level and tide. There are washrooms at this park just
above the beach. How to get there: Drive along Marine Drive in West Vancouver.
The park is located at some point beyond Horse Shoe Bay, past Lighthouse Point,
and past a sailing club.
Burnaby
· Patterson/Mayberry circle of pillars.(across from tennis courts at Central Park)
· Metrotown public library's park/sitting area outside.
· Burnaby Mountain's circle of rocks on the hill. Also when at the rocks
if you turn and look up the hill then walk in that direction you will come across
a concrete stage. A third spot is back towards the restaurant. Walk down the
hill towards the totem poles. There are many areas just beyond the poles where
you can have a very secluded picnic.
· Burnaby Lake. Walk the trails all the way around the lake.
New Westminster
· Queen's Park has a nice gazebo in the rose garden.
Also walk to the petting zoo and take a look at the peacocks.
Summer is the best time to visit this park. Later walk through
Queen's Park's residential area. The homes are beautifully restored
and the area is very peaceful and quiet.
Vancouver Island
· Newcastle Island, Nanaimo. A very scenic place with many beautiful walkways to discover. Also visit Protection Island which is directly across from Newcastle and Gabriola Island.
· Butchard Gardens, Victoria.
· Crystal Gardens, Victoria. (While You are there
go upstairs and go inside the closed-in room full of butterflies!)
· Denmen and Hornby Island. Just off of Vancouver
Island..
Other locations

· Waimanalo Beach, (Photo above: Supreme Goddess Lorena at Waimanalo Beach) Just outside of Waikiki, Oahu. It can be very secluded at times. Women should not go unescorted. Showers and restrooms are close by. While you are in Waimanalo stop at the small BBQ restaurant that is alongside the road. Try the smoked pork on rice and also the pineapple ice cream!
· Little Beach, Maui. (It is a nude beach just
over the rocks on the right side of Big Beach).
The Pamper Camper (Travelling Goddess-style)
Fantasy Theme Room Hotels
· The Olde England Inn 429 Lampson St., Victoria,
BC. V9A 5Y9 (250)388-4353 Fax (250)382-8311. Each room is decorated
differently and all of them are done in the medieval era. Try
the restaurant downstairs. The entrees are from that era also
and so are the portions!
· The Captain's Palace Hotel and Restaurant. 309 Belleville
Street, Victoria, BC V8V 1X2 (604)388-9191. This is a bed
and breakfast. The small rooms of this Victorian House are all
decorated Victorian.
· Castle Haymour, Peachland, BC. Suites: Queen of Sheba (Very nice!), Roman, Arabian, and Sultan. Rooms: Egyptian and Taj Mahal. There used to be a restaurant upstairs but it is shut down now and there is no room service so Supreme Goddess Lorena recommends that you bring in your own champagne/wine and food and just stay the one night since there is nothing to do in Peachland once you have seen the small museum and take a swim in the lake.
· West Edmonton Mall Fantasy Hotel. It is said that each room has a totally different theme and that it is a nice hotel.
· Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada. It is said to be beautiful.
Other Hotels

beach and besides just regular hotel rooms it also has seperate
white guest bungalows close to the beach. Some of the bungalows
even have their own private pool! The hotel is located just outside
of Lahaina and is across from a golf course. Supreme Goddess Lorena
loves this hotel. (Thank you, trainee slave bernd for the extra
needed information on this hotel. After seeing this hotel, he
agreed with Supreme Goddess Lorena that this hotel is indeed "Goddess-worthy").

· Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Waikiki, Oahu. A beautiful pink hotel. In the Sheraton Hotel beside it take the elevator up towards the restaurant above to get a good look at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel from the glass elevator. At the Royal Hawaiian's beachfront tan and swim all day then later have a cocktail in their outdoor lounge near the beach. At night dance in their ballroom to the orchestra music.
